ABOUT

Back by demand, Carpe Noctem returns to East Austin’s iconic Pershing Hall for one final run before the holiday season. Presented by TY&CO, Austin’s experimental dance and performance collective led by artistic director Ty Graynor, the cabaret fuses theatre, dance, burlesque, and live song into an immersive, one-of-a-kind evening that celebrates artistry, connection, and pure entertainment.

This second run of 2025 transforms Pershing Hall’s secret speakeasy hideaway into a world of movement and magic. Carpe Noctem (“seize the night”) invites audiences to step into an atmosphere where time bends and genre disappears. Each act offers a new spell — a collision of dance, theatre, humor, and spectacle — performed by an ensemble of Austin’s most dynamic performers.

Guests can expect dinner-and-a-show seating, handcrafted cocktails, and Pershing’s signature food and beverage menu, served throughout the night by the venue’s renowned mixologists. The evening unfolds across multiple acts, blending classical craft with contemporary edge in a space that feels equal parts performance, party, and dream.

A man with long hair and a beard, wearing a leopard-print shirt, holds a lighter with a flame close to his chest in a dimly lit room. He has an intense expression and is sitting on a brown chair, with a poster and a sign displaying the number 18 in the background.
